This study reports a young adult patient with lung cancer arising from adjacent to bullae, which had been diagnosed 3 years back. Chest physicians should always be aware of the potential development of lung cancer in patients with bullous disease. Even if the initial evaluation does not discover mass lesion, these patients should probably have imaging studies at regular intervals to be screened for development of lung cancer on a regular basis. A detailed examination should be carried out when suspicious changes appeared adjacent to bullae in imaging studies.
